Waupaca's own Health Concepts opened its doors in October 1995. At the time it was a 2 person business offering 2 services, massage therapy and healing touch. In the 15+ years we have been in business we have expanded to 6 therapists who offer more than 20 different services. Health Concepts continues to grow and expand each year.
Health Concepts LLC provides services to individuals who want to improve and maintain their health and relax their body. Many of our therapies, such as massage, ear candling, and body sugaring have been used and accepted throughout the world for centuries. These therapies can be used as a compliment to “traditional” medical care or they may be used as part of your well being program. Our goal is to assist clients in reaching their optimum level of wellness and balance in their lives.

Marcie started out at Health Concepts as a receptionist in 1999. After the prompting of several Health Concepts co-workers, her family, & friends she went back to school. Searching for a field that would compliment Health Concepts existing services led her to the field of Aesthetics at Martin's College of Cosmetology. During her intense training there she learned such skills as men's & women's facials, rosacea & acne facials as well as several body treatment. She enjoys giving people that extra boost in confidence you get when you feel good about the way you look! She is eager to answer any questions you have regarding your skin care needs. She also learned the art of body sugaring from Alexandria Professionals. After receiving her Aesthetician license 2001 she became Health Concepts full time Aesthetician. In 2005 she became co-owner, her vision for Health Concepts is to become "The destination Spot" for relaxation and healing.

Tania completed her training at the Fox Valley School of Massage in June of 2002. Her training focused on Swedish/Therapeutic massage technique. While in school she also learned pregnancy massage as well as Hot Some Massage & Reiki. Shortly after finishing school she became licensed through the state of Wisconsin. Tania has since become Reiki III certified and hope to become a Reiki Master within the next few years. She continued her education by receiving an Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2008. Tania believes that educating ones self in Holistic Health practices is a key factor in a healthier and happier you. She enjoys meeting with new clients and showing them the benefits of Massage Therapy and Reiki. Crystal Massage therapy background came from "Blue Sky Education Foundation" in 2000 with a special interest in Therapeutic Massage for the overall well being of the human body. With several years of experience I enjoy giving deep tissue massage. Her background in yoga has given her a wider perspective on body fundamentals.

Suzann co-founded Health Concepts believing that there were effective alternatives for treating peoples chronic health conditions. Suzann describes herself as a lifelong learner, receiving her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1974. She began her Healing Touch training from Healing Touch International in 1995. Upon completion of massage training from the Balanced Touch Institute she was awarded her Massage Certification. In 2000 she received her certification in Cancer / HIV & Mastectomy Massage. In 2006 she attended University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and received her certification in professional foot and nail care.

Sandy entered the field of Reflexology & Colon Therapy to help her family stay healthy. She also gets satisfaction in helping people with wise food choices. She will help you learn how to keep your colon healthy. Sandy became a certified Reflexologist in 2001. Through Reflexology she enjoys aiding the body's own healing process. She received her certification in Appleton, WI. Sandy received her Certification in Colon Therapy at the Wood Hygiene Institute in Kissimmee, FL in 2003.

Carmen received her Colon Therapy certification at the Wood Hygiene Institute in Kissimmee, FL in 2007. Carmen entered the field of colon therapy due to her interest in helping people feel better about themselves and take charge of their personal health care.
